Golden Light
small wound #53
First Act: yellow.music
Second Act: yellow.poetry
Golden Light
Daisies,
dusk,
a passion fruit
macaron
Golden light
spilling
through the blinds
Soft shadows
drawing lines
across my hair
Tulips,
a tablecloth,
a picnic,
a lemon tart
Meringue,
autumn,
the ocean
and its waves
At six in the evening
Sunflowers,
butterflies,
songs by Jorge Drexler,
the Eiffel Tower,
the yellow subway line
Small cracks
forming
inside me
while everything else shines

Thank you Jes Scoville , for the inspiration.

It's the whole MOOD of the color! I get it now.
While everything else shines,
one sparkling ray touches my iris.
The gold, the yellow, the sunshine
pass through my eyes,
and the yellowish glow
brings me to your poem.🤭
