Colorless
small wound #57

Poem by Kasu (small wounds), Voiceover by Sam’s Spaghetti
Colorless
She doesn’t want to cry
she doesn’t want
to dim her light
She wants
to come undone
She doesn’t want
to swallow
her words
She is tired
of silence
She doesn’t want
to wait
to beg
to pretend
She doesn’t want
to contain herself
She wants to scream
to find
her reflection
She is a storm
a flare
a natural disaster
Only emptiness
can hold her
Like a tragedy,
a series of
unfortunate events
She wants
someone
to stay
Not run
Not flinch
Not hesitate
She wants
someone
to feel
To gather
slowly
her scattered pieces
Even if her skin burns
her tears drown
her emotions surge
and tangle
She wants the stillness
to break
She wants someone
to call
her name

I feel much the way she does. Well said.
A reckoning at the bottom of hidden despair, still waiting for something safe to arrive. I identified with it more than I should have.
