Hi Kasu,Anger can start from reasons that feel understandable at first, but little by little it escalates, and in the end it can crush even unrelated people, empathy, the background behind things, and even the possibility that someone could change.
This is genuinely strong. It’s surreal and strange, in a good way, and the emotional thread underneath it is very clear - rage, shame, empathy, forgiveness. The cancel culture lands because the brontosaurus already feels symbolic before its named. Clever.
Great to see how you contextualized cancel culture. It's evolved and not always pleasantly. It's interesting to see where society takes it. This is a trend-setting piece for me because I'm not quite sure cancel culture is gone yet, but your approach here is novel. Thanks for sharing!
Cancel Culture is the merry go round beast we’ve ALL been riding. Mounted in fear, ignorance, denial, arrogance, greed. For the thrill and amusement. The price to ride? Cheap! Don’t even think about it “cheap”. It’s time to get down. I think.
Kasu, Thank you for giving us something to think about so beautifully put. … I’ve revised a bit my original response to your poetic call … All best.

I loved that cancel culture is portrayed by an ugly prehistoric animal, representing a pervasive evil in society, and the metamorphosis to second chances through listening, understanding and kindness. It brings hope to addressing and resolving a longstanding cultural issue.
I loved the creativity here. Naming a dinosaur as "Cancel Culture" until it sees kindness and understanding, and then re-naming it as "Second Chances"... Your poem gives a solution instead of just poking the problem.
Second chance. That is everything. Brilliantly done.
Thank you 💜 you were part of the inspiration for this one.
I do think we could use more more understanding and empathy, mostly because we all carry our own monsters inside.
This poem is a masterpiece., the imagery is stunning , truly intense and moving !!
Thank you for taking the time to read it. I poured my heart on it 💜

Yes, it certainly can escalate very fast, which is why I wanted to bring some light into it. There is always hope 💜
Thank you for your feeeback as always, I appreciate you 💜

Thank you. I deeply appreciate you reading it and leaning deeply into it.

Such a hopeful ending to such a pervasive cultural issue.
Thank you 💜 I wanted to portray that some of us out there are willing to listen and not judge.
I did not expect to get protective over the brontosaurus once the baby leaves showed up...
He’s a precious being 💜🥰
Beautiful
Thank you 🥰
