Okay, that raven needs to mind its beak... I was already fragile from the petals and the whole jealous garden thing. I came in thinking pretty dark bouquet, very moody, and then the poem went no babe, we are decomposing with style. Weirdly tender little nightmare, honestly.
All so relatable. Beautifully executed.
Thank you 💜💜
Such a brilliant and creative writer 👏
I'm blessed to read your work
Wow that’s so sweet! Thank you 🥹💜
You're welcome
This feels like a modern gothic elegy. As always, your imagery is breathtaking, it’s lush and symbolic. The raven was a magnificent choice 🖤🖤
Thank you 🥹💜💜

BEWARE
A Raven Speaks
You think I came for your sorrow.
No.
I was here long before you bled into poetry.
I have watched lovers longer than you have lived.
Petals between teeth.
Hands that forget.
Departures that call themselves gentle.
You are not the first to call herself withered, barren, undone.
But you,
you looked at your own ruin and did not turn away.
You did not ask me for pity.
You offered me your wound like a field at the end of harvest.
I perched not to mock you
but to tell you what you could not yet hear through the noise in your own bones.
You called yourself a calamity.
I call you an acre of truth.
You called yourself a silence.
I call you a song that forgot its voice and is learning again.
You think your thorns were born in that garden.
They were born because you survived it.
You think you are dying flowers.
You are the ones who bloomed
anyway.
So I did not peck to hurt you.
I pecked to wake you.
Look up.
I am not your ending.
I am your witness.
You are not finished.
You are still taking root.

Thamk you 🥹💜
Your poem is as memorizing as the picture paired with it <3
So poetically dark! 🥀
Thank you 🥹
Every time I read Kasu’s poetry, it reminds me that beauty doesn’t exist only in happiness.
That is exactly how I feel 💜
This was exquisite 🥰 absolutely loved the progression of the images in addition to the words. 🙌🏻
Thank you 🥹💜

Thank you very much 🥹💜 that’s beautiful
Your heart is as tender as the petal are the most delicate flower
I found this flower in the jungles of Bangladesh and you remind me of this flower
I never would’ve wrote it if it wasn’t for you
That makes me happy 💜
Just beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you 💜
